I used to do this with Juhjames. Then he got teeth. The little guy has little hesitation about biting me!
This is the practical alternative to dummies/ pacifiers. We have experimented with dummies on several occasions but we’re unsure about them. So we give Violet the finger, fleshy part up and it works. She stops crying and as you can see, that frees us up to… er… sit with a finger in Violet’s mouth.
